Thank you and Good-bye!
When our family moved here, I made a commitment to volunteer at the local church for 20 years, which started in the 1994-95 school year at St. Bridget's parish.  I was active in my parish in Canada as a lector since 14 years of age, and noted acceptance of a stranger by a small town parish took time.  I was passionately active up to and throughout the merger to make it work for all three (3) sites, and am so glad that the NOW Youth Group vision to make the Olcott site the center for the youth group came to fruition.  I am still active and passionate with my interests, and will be returning to some personal ones.  I met my goal, and will be officially retired as my last confirmation class (2014-15) receives its sacrament from Bishop Malone on May 18/15, although Cheryl is trying to talk me out of it...nice to be appreciated, needed, and treated as a good thing!  Thanks to Sally Sayward and Bill Smith for supporting me, and talking me in to serving with them up at St. John's these last 3 years.
