An Easter Prayer
I offered an Easter prayer for our faith community
I did not ask for fortune, for riches or for fame –
I only asked for blessings in the name of the Risen Lord.
On this Easter day
may the Risen Christ offer us a share in his new life and fill us with His infinite love to be his body now in our world.
Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which He looks compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which He walks to do good. Yours are the hands with which He blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands
Yours are the feet
Yours are the eyes
You are His body
Christ has no body now on earth but ours.
St. Theresa’s Prayer by John Michael Talbot
On behalf of our entire staff here at St. Brendan on the Lake, we wish you and your families and our Easter guests, a Blessed Easter surrounded by family and friends. “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad. Alleluia!”
In the Risen Christ,
Fr. Rob
